Victron Energy PMP242305100
Victron MultiPlus-II 120V Inverter/Charger with Enhanced FunctionalityThe Victron MultiPlus-II Inverter/Charger, model PMP242305100, is designed to provide efficient power solutions for both on-grid and off-grid applications. It serves as both an inverter and charger, making it a versatile choice for various energy systems. Featuring advanced PowerControl and PowerAssist functions, this device enhances your energy usage by optimizing generator or grid power, ensuring you have reliable energy when you need it most.
Product Features
Complete Inverter/Charger Solution
The MultiPlus-II is a multifunctional inverter/charger that combines the features of the MultiPlus with additional capabilities, including an optional external current sensor. This integration allows for improved PowerControl and PowerAssist functions, accommodating up to 100A, ensuring optimal performance tailored to your energy needs.
PowerControl and PowerAssist Features
With PowerControl, the MultiPlus-II can set limits on the total AC current drawn from the grid or generator. This functionality prevents overloads by intelligently prioritizing AC loads and using surplus power for battery charging. PowerAssist enhances this by providing extra battery power when the grid lacks capacity, seamlessly recharging as demand decreases.
Robust Design for Solar Energy Integration
The MultiPlus-II is compatible with both solar charger controllers and grid-tied inverters, allowing it to operate efficiently in diverse energy systems. This makes it ideal for harnessing solar power, providing AC energy even during grid failures and enhancing off-grid capabilities.
Fast Transfer Switch for Uninterrupted Power
Equipped with a fast transfer switch, the MultiPlus-II ensures a seamless transition to backup power in the event of grid failures. With a response time of less than 20 milliseconds, it maintains power supply to connected loads without disrupting electronic devices, making it crucial for critical applications.
Versatility in Power Configuration
This inverter/charger can operate in parallel, split-phase, and three-phase configurations, allowing for a scalable power output. Up to six MultiPlus-II units can be connected to achieve high power outputs, ensuring flexibility in energy demands whether in marine, mobile, or stationary setups.
How It Works
The MultiPlus-II operates by combining inverter and charger functionalities into a single unit. It seamlessly manages and regulates energy flow between various sources, including utility power, generator power, and battery storage, optimizing usage for maximum efficiency.
AC and DC Input Management
The MultiPlus-II expertly manages AC input from grid or generator sources, monitoring the current through the external AC current sensor to optimize power usage. It also regulates DC input voltages, ensuring the inverter operates within safe limits, thus protecting your equipment.
Monitoring and Control Options
With a variety of monitoring tools such as the Color Control GX and other GX products, you can easily configure and control your setup remotely. This feature allows for real-time data access, remote setting adjustments, and system performance tracking to ensure your energy solutions are operating efficiently.
Remote Connectivity and Data Management
The MultiPlus-II’s ability to connect to the internet via the Color Control GX enables remote monitoring through the Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal. This feature expands the control options, allowing you to store and visualize critical operational data effortlessly.
